All of us Californians have a reading assignment from the governor. I know I read "The Grapes of Wrath'' in high school. I remember not liking it, but I usually enjoy a book more when I don't have to write a report comparing and contrasting the protagonist's family with my own or some other horrid assignment.

I think I might have a paperback copy on one of my bookshelves. Am I going to read it again? I don't know. I have so many other books to read right now.
