Everyone is discussing the Pledge of Allegiance ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. It's an emotional situation with some deep feelings on both sides. I understand the separation of church and state argument inherent in the Establishment Clause of the Constitution, but agree that "one nation under God" isn't exactly an endorsement of a specific religion. I'm fine leaving the Pledge alone if we can agree to not teach creationism/intelligent design as an alternative theory in science classes.
