It seems the European Union can dictate which of their member countries are allowed to manufacture wine. The moratorium Denmark has been lifted and a small winery in a village called Dons will be producing Danish wine. They will be producing reds, whites, rose and a sparkling wine and claim the extra long days, "the white nights", will produce excellent wines.
