Back in 1985 I would listen to San Jose radio station KOME when I was in the mood for some hard rock (Aerosmith, AC-DC, Cheap Trick). The afternoon drive guy was a DJ named Frank Bennett. He knew about the music he played, had a good rap and told some fairly twisted jokes. He called himself "Weird Old Uncle Frank", and he definitely sounded like the kind of guy you wouldn't leave alone with the kids. Now almost 2 decades later "Weird Old Uncle Frank" has turned into "Aunt Fran". And she wants to get back on the air in the Bay Area. (I found this one via Jim Romenesko's Obscure Store and Reading Room, my favorite place to go for off-beat stories)
