Achewood today mentions another 80's band that's practically a one-hit wonder. A-ha, a Norwegian synth-pop band, was in heavy rotation on MTV in 1985. Their #1 song "Take On Me" had a great hook and an awesome video, blending animated sequences with real life shots. I don't remember seeing them again on MTV or hearing many more A-ha songs on the radio, but I have the album Hunting High and Low in my record collection. Side 1, Track 1 is well-worn, but the album was usually played all the way through. There are lots of memories floating around this old piece of vinyl, too - a different apartment in a different city, a different blonde girlfriend from a different European country...
