Yes, thank you, I did have a great vacation. I don't have the pictures yet, but I can make a quick list of things we did in Hawaii:
- hiked on a volcano (Kilauea)
- climbed over acres of lava (cold)
- walked within a few feet of flowing lava (hot)
- toured a Kona coffee plantation
- snorkeled in A-Bay
- body surfed at Hapuna Beach
- ate malasadas
- went to a luau
- visited the black sand beach at Punaluu
- saw Akaka Falls
- and Rainbow Falls
- walked through a lava tube
- saw the dolphins at the Hilton
- smelled the sulfur banks
- dined on the lanai, watching the sunset
- found some sea turtles on the beach
- got ripped off (rental van broken into)
- filed a police report
- tried Pepsi Blue
- hiked through rainforests
- drove the Saddle Road (in the fog - zero visibility)
- hiked the Polulu Valley overlook
- visited both candy factories
- munched Macadamia nuts
- wore flower leis and shell leis
- bought ukuleles
- found some geckos
- drank weak mai-tais and good margaritas
- explored a historical Hawaiian beach village
