I overachieved at the Blogcritics' Mass Posting today. I posted a second review this evening before reading to the kids at bedtime. Here it is:

Coyote v. Acme
LOL and ROTFL with this collection of essays by I. Frazier
Coyote v. ACME

Quick! Go here or here and read Ian Frazier's Coyote v. ACME. (You can even find it in French over here) Then go get the whole book of essays at your favorite bookseller.

The title essay, that can be found any number of places on the internet, is the opening statement of a Mr. Harold Schoff Esq., attorney for Mr. Wile E. Coyote of Roadrunner, er, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner fame. Like a true American, Wile E. has decided to avail himself of the legal system to sue, sue, sue. He obviously has not learned from his experiences, as he claims 85 separate product liability defects against Acme Company, supplier of firecrackers, spring powered shoes and out-of-control rocket sleds.

The other essays are in the same humorous vein. You don't need to take my word for it, the book won the Thurber Prize for American Humor in 1997. Pick up a copy and LOL. I'll be LMAO.
