I suppose I should get around to dumping some of my "loser" stocks. At this time of the year I try to re-evaluate my portfolio and clean out the junk, using the losses to balance out the gains I have made. Gains have been pretty minimal this year.

I do most of my investment research using the tools at Charles Schwab, where I have been self managing my portfolio for years. I have not used their equity ratings service yet, but based on this interview with a Schwab VP I think I'll give it a try.
