The second Harry Potter movie opens today. I guess there were some midnight shows last night in certain cities, but I didn't bother to check around here. My daughter and I are excited that the movie is finally out and we will probably try to see it this weekend.

It looks like some people got a little too excited about the opening of the film. A preacher in Maine got so riled up he decided to throw a book chopping party. He wanted to be a more traditional fascist and actually BURN the books, but couldn't get a permit from the appropriate authorities. The forces of good battled the forces of evil (witchcraft and paganism) at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston Maine last night. "'Hallelujah,' said a supporter as he tore and tossed a page out."
