Amusing article on Kinder Eggs, a banned substance in the United States. A couple years ago my Canadian friend smuggled in some Kinders to give to my kids. My daughter, who was 4 years old at the time, was terrified at the thought that there was "something" inside the chocolate egg. I quickly stashed the FDA regulated confections out of sight. After a couple days my daughter, who evidently had been contemplating the mysteries of the egg, came up to me and said she was ready to deal with the "thing" inside. We cracked open a Kinder, enjoyed the yummy chocolate and built the little plastic toy puzzle. No one choked.
