Since my daughter and I finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone this morning, we all decided to watch the DVD this afternoon. We have a nice home theater setup with excellent sound quality, so it is almost as good as the theater (no big screen of course). With a couple bowls of popcorn, we watched the dramatization of the book we had just finished. My daughter did great until the end where the evil Voldemort makes his appearance. She hid her head in her arms and refused to look. We'll start the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, tomorrow and we're looking forward to the new movie in November.
